    Rooted in Ritual.

Cultivated in the sacred Cordillera Mountain range of the Dominican Republic, where the island’s great rivers are born, Cocoa Canuco is a tribute to the Taíno people and their indigenous ancestral farming techniques. The coffee is grown using Canuco mounding, a method perfected centuries ago to protect seeds from overwatering in this lush, rain-fed region.

    Crafted in Harmony.

After harvest, the beans are medium roasted and infused with locally roasted cacao by our synesthesia gifted roaster, Christian, in a process that unites two of the Dominican Republic’s most sacred crops. The result is a silky, aromatic coffee layered with chocolate, sugar, and almond, a balance of earth, ritual, and refinement.

Every bag of Cocoa Canuco celebrates the sacred connection between coffee, cacao, and the land, honoring Taíno heritage and the living spirit of the Cordillera Mountains.

Honoring Taíno Tradition. Preserving the Island’s Sacred Roots.

Every bag of Coca Canuco connects you to the sacred Cordillera Mountains, where the island’s two great rivers are born. Farmers cultivate the the coffee using the traditional, naturally regenerative, Canuco method that protect the roots from excess rain while nourishing the plant naturally. The cacao used in this infusion is roasted by hand in small batches and folded into the coffee beans during post-roast blending, creating a natural, aromatic harmony.
