How to Store

What’s the best way to store my coffee?

Keep your coffee at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, and out of direct sunlight. Light, heat, and moisture break down freshness fastest, so a pantry or closed cabinet works best.

Our coffee arrives in artfully crafted collectors’ kraft tubes, which are designed not just for display but also for practical storage. Once opened, you can keep your bagged coffee inside the tube to protect it from light and help maintain its character longer.

Whole Bean vs. Ground Coffee

There is a difference between storing whole bean and ground coffee:

  • Whole beans stay fresh the longest, typically 2–3 weeks after opening, because their aromatics are protected until ground.
  • Ground coffee ages more quickly, so we recommend using it within 1–2 weeks for peak flavor.

There’s no need to refrigerate or freeze your coffee, both introduce moisture and can dull its natural complexity. Keep it sealed, keep it dry, and keep it tucked away from sunlight, and your coffee will stay true to its origin.
